WELCOME message
hello there :3
Welcome to Itinerae.shop - a home for everything surrounding the layouts I make. Here you’ll find shop information, layout terms, a guide for getting started with premade layouts and information about my commissions.
Most of my layouts begin with something small: a colour combination, a tiny graphic, or a specific background. I really enjoy playing around with different styles and little details. Some of my layouts are cute and simple, while others are more complicated or use high contrast.
You’ll find the finished designs in a few different places. Paid layouts are available through my Ko-fi shop, while itinerae.org holds the free layouts as well as + 1,3k web graphics, photography and bits from my personal life. .png)

layout terms
before using a layout
You must have basic knowledge of html, css (and flexbox/grid) to use my layouts. Layouts are primarily tested in Google Chrome at 1536 × 864. Appearance may vary slightly between browsers and screen sizes. The JavaScript in some premium layouts (clocks, calendars, etc.) was created with the help of AI. You may edit and customize the layouts freely for your own website. Please do not resell, redistribute, share, or claim the original layout code as your own work. These terms still apply even if the layout has been heavily edited or customized.
free layouts
When using a free layout, please keep the “layout made by Itinerae” credit in place. Free layouts are provided as-is and may have limited support.
paid layouts
A valid Ko-fi purchase is required to use a paid layout. Credit is optional. Paid layouts include support for problems with the original layout code.
images
The images and small graphics used in my layout demos are not my own. They have been collected over time from places such as Tumblr, Neocities, and other old-web resources.
If you keep any images from the demo, I recommend uploading them to your own website or image host instead of linking directly to files hosted on Itinerae or tumblr.
If you use any of these images or graphics, please respect and keep any original credits or source links i have included, usually found at the bottom of the site.

Please keep in mind that my downloadable layouts are separate from my personal website designs. The design and structure of itinerae.shop and itinerae.org are not templates and should not be copied.
layout editing guide
a little help getting started
A few simple tips for working with premade layouts. This isn't a coding tutorial, just a small guide to help you edit things without accidentally breaking the layout.
01 / look through the layout first
Open the live preview first and get familiar with the sections and overall structure before making changes.
02 / keep the original
Save an untouched copy of the layout before editing anything. If something stops working later, you will always have a clean version to return to or compare with your edited files.
03 / Save and preview often
Check your page in the browser regularly and make a few changes at a time.
04 / check your file paths
Make sure the style.css link in your HTML points to the correct file, if the layout uses an external stylesheet.
05 / host custom fonts yourself
If the layout uses custom font files, download them and upload them to your own website or file host. Remember to update the font URL in the CSS so the font continues to work correctly.
06 / test before publishing
Give the finished site one last check: open every section, test your links and images, and try different window sizes when you are using a responsive layout.
what if something breaks ?
! If your edited version stops working, compare it with the untouched copy and retrace your most recent changes.
Support
Quick support is mainly available for paid Ko-fi layouts, other questions may take longer for me to answer.
If you contact me:
- - tell me which layout you are using
- - include a link to the page when possible
- - describe what you changed before the issue appeared
- - screenshots are helpful for visual problems.

good to know
-
I only accept projects that I feel comfortable and confident
working on. I may decline a request if I don't feel that I'm
the right person for the project.
-
Commissions are available for personal websites, portfolios,
blogs, shrines, galleries, link pages and other indie web projects.
-
The € 59 starting price is for a single-page website. Additional pages,
more advanced features or especially complex layouts will cost more.
-
Please let me know if you are strictly against to AI and want a 100% hand-coded layout :) (this might limit the use of JS / some complex coding).
-
Cancellations & refunds : If you change your mind before I begin
working, please contact me as soon as possible. Once work has started,
refunds may be limited depending on how much of the project has already
been completed.
-
I won't create websites that promote or encourage hate,
discrimination or harassment towards any person or group.
please note / visual details
My work focuses on website coding and layout design. I use existing images from the web or images supplied by you. I don't edit photos, draw graphics, create logos or offer graphic-design services. Visual effects and decorative details are mainly created with CSS, just like in all my premade layouts.

Questions, orders or other messages
For general questions about my layouts or something else you have in mind, you can email me at shye@itinerae.org.
If your question is about a Ko-fi purchase or order, please message me through Ko-fi instead.
I usually try to reply to Ko-fi messages the same day or by the next day at the latest. Emails and guestbook messages are checked more casually, usually about once a week.
If you need a quick answer to a simple question, itinerae.org's chatbox is the best place to reach me. ^^
